This year’s event will provide an opportunity for attendees to learn more about the recently adopted Karina’s Law, which will enhance legal provisions to mandate firearm removal when a domestic violence survivor receives an order of protection that includes firearm restrictions. The breakfast will include a discussion lead by Michele Weldon and will include Maralea Negron from The Network: Advocating Against Domestic Violence, as well as Kira, a survivor of domestic violence who was one of the leading advocates for Karina’s Law.
