Bio:
Born in South Korea and holding a degree in English Literature, Sun-Hee is also a certified English as a Second Language teacher. This passion for education not only led her to establish the Eye Level Learning Center in Morton Grove, but also fuels her commitment to empower older adults to navigate life's transitions.
Her personal experience witnessing aging's challenges within her own family led Sun-Hee to found Sage Lifestyle Concierge LLC. This company acts as a compassionate guide for older adults and their families, navigating the often-daunting terrain of senior living options, home care services, and essential resources.
Sun-Hee's dedication extends beyond her clients. She advocates for aging-friendly policies, and mentors aspiring entrepreneurs, sharing her wisdom and experience from both her education and hospitality degree. Passionate about fostering connection, she founded a women's literature circle in 2018, creating a space for diverse voices to celebrate the power of stories.
Sun-Hee's dedication extends beyond Sage Lifestyle Concierge, as she actively contributes to several organizations:
- Member of Age Options, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering older adults to live well.
- Member of the Illinois Family Caregiver Coalition and Advocacy Task Force, championing the needs of caregivers.
