Matthew Johnston joins Fulton Grace Realty from d’aprile properties, where he began his real estate career. However, Matthew has been in client service relations for most of his professional working life. Alongside his career, Matthew pursued his passion for theater. In fact, Matthew gained his BFA in theater studies from UIUC. He went on to work in theaters across Chicago, Wisconsin, Vermont, and New York, doing just about everything from playwright to performance. With experience aside, “my most notable specialty would be my ability to connect to people emotionally. I have a decent amount of relocation clients which means putting yourself in their shoes to find their wants and desires, not only by what they say but by how that act, the nuances of their expressions, vocal tone, and more. This is all something a background in theater teaches people, how to sense a person, room, and feeling of a situation." When not working on finding the very best listings for his clients, you can find Matthew coaching speech at Oak Park River Forest High School.
