Ah, Summertime...

Whether it's Olaf, Bryan Adams, Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, The Go-Go's or Will Smith, everyone has a go-to song about Summertime. (My personal favorite is Don Henley.) Summertime provides endless possibilities for entertainment and socializing. An OPRF Chamber Summer is no different. Our events calendar is packed with gatherings you won't want to miss.  

Join us on Tuesday, July 12, for our monthly Business After Hours on the patio of the Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Trust. Love the idea of enjoying a good meal outdoors? So do we! Our biweekly Takeout Stakeout is Friday, 22. Join us at Schweet's Homemade Chicago Cheesecake for 30 minutes of casual networking and walk away with a yummy takeout lunch. Stay tuned for another delicious option on August 5. 



If you find the sunshine appealing but prefer the comfort of air conditioning, you have your back. Meditation Mondays at CrossFunction will fit your needs. Thirty minutes of relaxation and peace will recharge you for the week ahead. Join us on July 18 and August 15 at 12:15pm and the third Monday of each month. 

Summer is about celebrations and we have plenty to celebrate with Ribbon Cuttings. Welcome new restaurant Sweetgreen on Lake Street to the OPRC community at their Monday, July 11 Ribbon Cutting. It's exciting to have another fresh healthy option for lunch downtown. End your week on a high note by celebrating a Friday, July 15 Ribbon Cutting at LifeSpan Counseling and Psychological Services on North Ave. We are so fortunate to have such prestigious services in our own backyard. End the month with a Sunday, July 31 Ribbon Cutting at Rocket Club in the Arcade Building. This family event shouldn't be missed especially if you know some future astronauts, engineers and mathematicians.
