Participants will also receive recipe cards for Syrups & Non-Alcoholic Cocktails to recreate these delightful drinks at home.
Following the mocktail making, The Way Back Inn, a local organization dedicated to supporting those on their journey to recovery, will lead an engaging and insightful conversation about being sober curious and embracing mindful drinking. Donnie Biggins is a lifelong Oak Park resident. He recently opened Robert's Westside - A live music venue and community gathering space in the heart of downtown Forest Park, IL. Donnie is a singer-songwriter and member of The Shams Band. He has been a concert promoter, Harmonica Dunn, for the past 15 years in Chicago, Oak Park, Berwyn and Forest Park. Donnie is coming up on four years of sobriety from alcohol and has been an advocate for music venues and bars to increase their non-alcoholic beverages offerings to provide all patrons with the freedom of choice to maximize their concert-going experience.
