Ribbon Cutting at LifeSpan Counseling
Come celebrate with us! Ribbon cuttings provide an opportunity to welcome and connect with a new business, network with other attendees, and celebrate our growing business community. Connecting business to business, and business to community.
Who Is Celebrating This Week?
This week we'll be at LifeSpan Counseling and Psychological Services celebrating their new North Ave. location and a new three-part mural in the front windows, taking pictures of the event, and enjoying refreshments and networking! There will also be an opportunity to check out a vacant first-floor medical clinic space which is currently for lease!
Founded by Dr. Orson and Ms. Keri Morrison, LifeSpan's team of 9 psychologists, social workers, and counselors goal provide compassionate, individualized and culturally-responsive mental health care to the community. Counseling and evaluation services at LifeSpan address needs that emerge and change throughout the different stages of life.
The murals - "Collective Healing," "Diversity," and "Community", created by artist Kasey Grealis - were inspired by values expressed by the Morrisons. They are the second window art installation of The North Avenue District's North Art Bridge project, connecting Oak Park and Chicago's Galewood neighborhood with public art.
LifeSpan recently moved to their own building on North Avenue, from their prior location in the Hemingway District. See their space, meet the staff, admire the art, get to know other Chamber members, and join us for the ribbon cutting and the celebration!
What Are They Celebrating?
Street parking is available on North Avenue, or in LifeSpan's private lot on the east side of the building.
