Community-Sustained Refrigerators.
Food insecurity is a pandemic that continues to impact communities across the country. Oak Park Community Fridge is a sharing initiative aiming to reduce food insecurity and food waste, while building a stronger community. By partnering with local stakeholders, we seek to provide healthy food through the installation of community fridges (public refrigerators) throughout Oak Park that are used to share food and ideas at a village level. Propelled by the belief that as people, we are truly stronger together & we are only as strong as the weakest among us, we believe that food insecurity should not exist, as the right to food is a human right. For more information, check out their website: https://www.opfridge.com/
Don't forget about the Mindful 10
Where should I Park?
