About Us

Riveredge Hospital provides comprehensive behavioral healthcare services for children, adolescents and adults. Opened in 1965, Riveredge Hospital has been operating in its current location for over 50 years. With 210 licensed inpatient beds, Riveredge Hospital is the largest free standing behavioral healthcare facility in Illinois, we provide a full continuum of care that includes acute inpatient, residential treatment, partial hospitalization programs, intensive outpatient programs, group therapy, outpatient psychiatry and medication monitoring, as well as individual outpatient therapy. We believe in a Trauma-Informed Care philosophy that values the dignity of the individuals we serve by treating them with compassion and respect.
