    Reports to: Executive Director
    Supervises: Membership Team (Program Manager, Partner Program Manager, Membership & Billing Coordinator)

    Position Summary

    The Director of Programming and Membership is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing all programming and membership functions of the OPRF Chamber. This role ensures the effective execution of programs, events, and membership strategies that align with the Chamber's mission and strategic goals. Initially, the Director will balance strategic oversight with hands-on membership engagement, transitioning to a fully supervisory and strategic capacity by End of 2025.

    Key Responsibilities

    Leadership and Strategic Oversight

    • Lead and supervise the programming and membership team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive member engagement strategy to support retention and recruitment goals.
    • Ensure all programs and events align with the Chamber's strategic plan and community vision.
    • Collaborate with the Executive Director to assess and adapt strategies based on feedback and measurable outcomes.

    Programming Management

    • Oversee the planning, development, and execution of all Chamber programs and initiatives.
    • Ensure programming meets the needs of diverse business sectors, fostering engagement and delivering value to members.
    • Evaluate the success of programs and recommend enhancements to improve impact and efficiency.
    • Manage budgets for programming, ensuring financial sustainability and alignment with organizational goals.

    Membership Engagement

    • Drive member retention through personalized engagement strategies and exceptional customer service.
    • Identify and target potential new members to grow the Chamber's membership base.
    • Collaborate with staff to enhance membership benefits and ensure consistent communication of value.

    Collaboration and Partnerships

    • Cultivate relationships with local businesses, government agencies, and community organizations to create collaborative opportunities.
    • Work with the Executive Director to identify sponsorship opportunities for programs and events.
    • Represent the Chamber at key community events, fostering partnerships and visibility.

    Marketing and Communications

    • Oversee the promotion of Chamber programs, events, and member benefits through strategic marketing initiatives.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure cohesive and impactful messaging across all channels.

    Qualifications

    • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in program management, membership development, or a related field, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
    • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire a team while managing multiple priorities.
    • Strategic Thinking: Strong ability to develop and implement strategies that align with organizational goals.
    • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
    • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems, event management software, and social media platforms.
    • Passion: A commitment to supporting local businesses and fostering community connections.

    Compensation

    • Salary Range: $52,000-$65,000
