    Job Description: Partner Program Manager

    Organization: Oak Park-River Forest Chamber of Commerce (OPRF Chamber)
    Location: Oak Park, River Forest, IL
    Reports to: Director of Programming and Membership

Through robust programming, member engagement, and strategic partnerships, we aim to support local businesses and foster a thriving, interconnected community.

    Position Summary

    The Partner Program Manager plays a key role in supporting the Chamber’s mission by engaging local businesses, local government agencies, and community-based organizations in cross-sector partnerships and programs.  

    Key Responsibilities

    Program Management and Operations

    • Lead the planning, coordination, and production of assigned Chamber-hosted events.
    • Collaborate with vendors, sponsors, and partners to ensure seamless event execution.
    • Manage assigned tasks according to program timelines and workflows, in collaboration with fellow staff members and partners.
    • Ensure program and event information is updated in internal and external systems.
    • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, adapting activities as needed to meet goals.
    • Contribute to reports for internal and external stakeholders highlighting program and partnership achievements and key learnings.
    • Lead monthly seminar series for select Chamber members (one half-day Saturday per month.)

    Collaboration and Partnerships

    1. Maintain regular communication with partner organizations, facilitating regular meetings and sharing updates on project progress
    2. Build strong relationships with partner staff to foster collaboration and trust. 
    3. Proactively address concerns and resolve conflicts with partners.
    4. Serve as organizational liaison to local business districts for community-centered projects.
    5. Represent the Chamber at community events and activities.

    Qualifications

    Experience: 2+ years of experience in program management, partner relations, and/or events.
    Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, project management, presentation and facilitation.
    Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Google Suite, CRM systems, and social media platforms.
    Passion: A commitment to supporting local businesses and fostering community connections.


    Compensation

    Salary Range: $ $45,000-$50,000
